Biggest Week 10 Fantasy Football Booms and Busts
Week 10 in fantasy football was a wild ride filled with breakout moments, painful busts, and a few unexpected stars who came out of nowhere to save lineups. Now that the playoffs are only a few weeks away, every performance carries extra weight. Let’s talk about who lit it up and who tanked, as well as who might be setting up your team for a playoff push.
The Booms That Made Sundays Better
TreVeyon Henderson finally gave fantasy managers the game they’d been waiting for. After weeks of limited touches, the rookie exploded for 147 rushing yards and two touchdowns against Tampa Bay. Both scores came on long runs that showed off his burst and patience, and he finished as fantasy’s 4th overall winner for the week. If Rhamondre Stevenson stays out, Henderson could keep the Patriots offense moving, especially with favorable matchups against the Jets, Bengals, and Giants coming up.
Chris Olave also showed up for the Saints with 104 yards and a touchdown on eight targets. Rookie quarterback Tyler Shough looked comfortable in the pocket, and Olave benefited from that improvement. He’s established as a weekly WR1 now that New Orleans is designing plays to feature him. Parker Washington joined the boom list by scoring on a 33-yard reception and adding a 73-yard punt return touchdown. With Jacksonville missing several receivers, Washington’s expanded role makes him a realistic flex play.
Rookies Making Moves
Woody Marks continued to impress Houston fans by producing 81 total yards and a touchdown. The Texans have leaned on him consistently, giving him double-digit carries in four straight games. D’Andre Swift reminded everyone he’s still Chicago’s top back with 98 total yards on 16 touches, while rookie Kyle Monangai took advantage of red-zone work with a short touchdown. Head coach Ben Johnson seems committed to sharing the backfield workload, which keeps both players fantasy-relevant.
Another rookie on the rise is Tyrone Tracy Jr. of the Giants. He led the backfield with 71 rushing yards, outperforming Devin Singletary, who added 43 yards and three receptions. With Jaxson Dart possibly sidelined by a concussion, Tracy’s rushing role could grow if the Giants limit passing volume. Quinshon Judkins also stayed busy for Cleveland by handling 24 touches for 85 total yards in a tough matchup with the Jets.
Veterans Who Let Managers Down

Bijan Robinson’s fantasy struggles continued. Despite 84 rushing yards, he failed to score and lost red-zone work to Tyler Allgeier, who finished with 57 yards and two touchdowns. Robinson remains a weekly starter, but his usage has frustrated fantasy managers. Justin Jefferson and Jordan Addison also disappointed by combining for 72 receiving yards on 23 targets. The Ravens’ defense limited them, though Jefferson should rebound soon against Chicago.
Sam Darnold, who had been trending up for Seattle, stumbled with only 4.9 fantasy points and three turnovers. After multiple strong outings, he suddenly reminded everyone why streaming quarterbacks can be risky. Michael Pittman Jr. also fell flat and caught just two passes for 19 yards, while Alec Pierce continued to see deeper targets.
Late-Season Names To Watch

Colston Loveland made noise for Chicago with his game-winning performance in Week 9 and looks like a useful tight end streamer moving forward. Jacoby Brissett remains a solid option in deeper leagues since he keeps Arizona’s passing attack productive.
As fantasy playoffs approach, players like Henderson, Washington, and Allgeier could be the late-season finds that separate contenders from everyone else. Week 10 reminded managers that fantasy football success can change fast, with one breakout or bad week altering the entire playoff picture.
