The New York Jets have not won a Super Bowl since 1969 and have had one winning season since 2011.

That was then, and they are ready to forget all that with a win-now roster led by quarterback Aaron Rodgers.

The Jets have more than quarterback Aaron Rodgers. Now they have running back Dalvin Cook, a four-time Pro Bowler with the Vikings, to go with Breece Hall, Michael Carter and Zonovan Knight.

They also have wide receiver Garrett Wilson and the makings of an explosive offense.

The Jets will go as far as Rodgers can lead them.

Many people are questioning the Jets’ offensive line. But those concerns might be overblown.

The Jets have capable o-linemen. Their slated starters are Billy Turner at left tackle, Laken Tomlinson at left guard, Connor McGovern at center, Alijah Vera-Tucker at right guard, and Max Mitchell at right tackle. They just have to get healthy and build continuity.

Or New York might have to add another Packer.

Robert Saleh is in his third year as Jets head coach and wants his team to prove they can be contenders.

“We proved last year that we’re a 7-10 football team with a really f—ing good defense and a mediocre offense. That’s what we proved. Flip that f—ing s—!”

The Jets have the 7th-toughest schedule in the NFL.

They face the Bills, Cowboys, Chiefs and Eagles in four of their first six games.

The Jets are the 19th team to appear on “Hard Knocks” before an NFL season. Seven of the previous 18 made the playoffs.

The 2010 Jets were one of them, when they went 11-5 after starring in “Hard Knocks” and lost in the conference championship with Mark Sanchez at quarterback.

That also is the last time the Jets made the playoffs.

Aaron Rodgers is not making any guarantees like Joe Namath or talking about the $9.5 million house he bought in New Jersey. He’s focused on getting the Jets ready to win.

But he turns 40 on Dec. 2. It will either be “No Play for Mr. Gray” or the 40-Year-Old Surgeon.
